Sponsorship

Corporate and Individual Sponsorship is critical to the success of our kennel. It provides substantial resources to Iron Pearl Kennels, both cash and in-kind. You might be thinking, “I live in the lower 48 and not many people have heard about the Iditarod. How can this help my business?” Through recent media attention, the Iditarod race is quickly getting people’s attention. Once someone hears about it, they tend to catch the ‘Iditarod Bug’.

We have a wide variety of marketing and branding opportunities available.
They can include identity exposure on newsletters, mushers’ garments, dog gear, sleds, vehicles, website, recognition at race banquets, etc. We also have an email update that we periodically send out to approximately 200 or more recipients. It includes everything from race updates, stories from the trail, dog profiles and more. We do hope that you might consider helping us. Please see below for sponsorship opportunities available.

Sponsor a Race: $1600 to $2500
Throughout the year, Tom and Jessica will be participating in a couple of different shorter distance races. They include everything from a small local race to the Copper Basin 300.

The main focus of our racing season is the Iditarod in March. However, we participate in shorter distance races throughout the winter season. This insures that the dogs gain experience, in addition to their training. Just like any other sport, the more practice that you get the better you’re do.

Racing is super expensive but critical to our kennels success. The cost of doing a race includes everything from an entry fee and supplies for the race itself to transportation, pre- and post- race accommodations, meals and more.
