Remember how much fun it was to follow Tom in the Iditarod in 2007? Tom will be racing in the Iditarod this upcoming March 2010 and we need your help! This year the entry fee alone for the Iditarod is $4,000. This doesn’t even include all of the supplies, costs for transportation, etc. that Tom with need. Tom and Iron Pearl Kennels are looking for sponsors of all levels for the 2009-2010 racing season and we could use your help. We have written a letter that you can use! With your help, we can get Tom to 4th Street in Anchorage this March.
This year Iron Peal Kennels will be partnering with Neurofibromatosis(NF), Inc. in Lombard, IL. NF, Inc. is an organization dedicated to supporting and educating people affected with Neurofibromatoses(NF). They also provide education to healthcare providers, along with support for critical research. When Tom was in grade school, he was diagnosed with NF. DOB: 2005 Joplyn is a sweet dog. She has a nice trot with a very hopeful future. She is one of our young favorites. Last year she had an injury that kept her out of races, but she’s back and ready to race in 2009. Joplyn is Morrison’s sister. |

DOB: 2004 Hemi has raced a great deal including some past Iditarods. He has a bi-polar attitude with good feet and a nice trot. |

DOB: 2005 Dozer is the pretty boy of IPK. He can be a little sensitive, but he a very happy guy. Dozer works well in wheel position. |

DOB: 2005 Furno is the son of Madera and Lance Mackey’s Zorro. He’ becoming our lead dog with an attitude. Furno is a happy guy and raced a lot in 2008-2009. |

DOB: 2001 Pinkie has quite a racing career, finishing the Iditarod three times. She has been in many races. Pinkie is one of the cutest dogs around with a lovable character. She is currently retired from racing, but a great training asset to our kennel. |

DOB: 2004 Couger is red male He is a very happy dog and the son of Madera. He has raced a few times and sometimes gets the opportunity to lead our team. |

DOB: 2005 Morrison is one of our big dogs. He is fast and can scream a tune like Jim Morrison, singer of the Doors. Morrison is a nice looking dog always ready to run with a lot of potential. |
